"Disk is Full" message when opening Excel 2000

Stan

I recieve the message "Disk is Full" when I open Excel.
Disk space and memory is sufficient. I have also rebooted
to no avail. Running Win2000, Excel 2000. Any
suggestions? I did look at Microsoft knowledgebase, but it
did not address this message when opening excel.

Thanks in advance.

Perhaps the issue relates to a file on another drive or network folder?
This would be the case for a loaded add-in or startup workbook which is
being loaded.
