Disk Full error message

I am running XP Pro V5.1-SP2. I have used this PC on this network for several
years. All of a sudden, I cannot save to the network hard drive. It is mapped
as H:, and when I open it in My Computer it says that it is 1.0GB and full,
despite actually having about 87gb of free space. I can read perfectly from
it, but I cannot save to it - it says it is full. About 12 other users are on
this network, and none have this problem. It occurred suddenly and I do not
know of any event that happened that would have precipitated this. Please
Help!!!

What is the "network hard drive"? A NAS (make/model)? An external hard drive
connected to another computer on the network (make/model)? An internal hard
drive in a computer on the network (running what operating system,
including the version and Service Pack level if a Windows OS)?

Are you on a domain or Workgroup?

The server is running Microsift Server 2003 V5.2-SP2. The drive is a hard
drive internal to the server PC - it is NFTS, 146 gb with 87 gb free, I do
not know make and model - how can I find this without dismantling the server?
The properties say Adaptec Array SCSI disk device, but i guess this is only
the adapter? As you can tell, i know only enough to be dangerous...

Nobody would have done this on purpose, but there are a lot of donkeys around
here (Hee-Haw)...how can I check this?

Thank you so much for the help - there was indeed a quota set for me. I never
heard of quotas before - I looked up the subject online, made the change and
I am good to go.

Since you apparently found out that there is a quota set on the drive, the
issue is closed.

I have a similar probleme, we are runing with a similar configuration,
our probleme is when we try to savegarde a file to the mapped disk, we
get an error message that disk is ful, but we can copy on it a file
without probleme.
I've verified, we still have 20 Gegabytes free dsik space.

In fact I get this message when I try to save an excel file which have
a 41 Mega of size.
