I have Optiplex machine running windows XP, is giving
this message.

Disk free space has dropped below the minimum threshold.
Free up space on your hard disk drive by:
1. Backing up your data to a tape backup, ZIP or network
drive.
2. Delete unused files.

If you are unsure which files are safe to move or
delete, contact your Help Desk or consult your software
manuals.

Any body has seen this message before? The disk quota is
not activated.

thanks.

Delete unwanted files in the hard disk. Use Disk Cleanup and purge all system restore points except the last point. Click Start/Run/Cleanmgr / More Options / system restore /cleanup.

If not, some of your data to CDs or move them to another partition where you have more space.
