Disk failure notification

I just set up disk mirroring on a Win2ooo Server. Does
anyone know if it is possible to set up any type of
automatic notification if one disk fails?

There is no such option within the operating system, only error messages in
the event log. You will need to find a third party tool, that watches the
event logs and warns you.
