disk eject

whenever I try to eject a disk from my drive g, the disk does not eject. I
have tried using file and right clicking the recording drive. I have to shut
down my computer and then manually eject the disk everytime. The help and
support says to right click the drive and go to properties then recording
tab, I do not have a "recording tab".
