I need some help. Whenever I go to install a program, any program, it
automatically wants to install to drive ' C: '. I have another drive, drive '
D: ', and was wondering if there was any way to make it so whenever i want to
install something it's default install drive is drive ' D: '.

;Thanks

Use Custom Install, and select wherever.
You can edit the registry if you really want it to default elsewhere

Most software will have at least two or three install options, one of which
is typically labeled 'Custom'.
Chose the Custom install option, during the steps to perform a custom
install you should be given a choice of where (which partition and path) to
install.
You may need to edit the default path at this step from C:\Program
Files\MyProgram to D:\MyProgram or something to this effect.

Keep in mind that there will still be some files that will end up on the C
drive, but the bulk of the application will be installed to the location you
specified.
