I'm trying to defragment my computer because its sooo slow.
But there's an error saying
"the scan has been cacnceled because an error occurred in file:
C:\Documents and
Settings\XP\LocalSettings\Temp\WERb60e.dir00\iexplore.exe.mdmp"

What does this mean?! how do i fix it?! HELP PLEASEEE!

Try running ccleaner before defragmenting.

www.ccleaner.com

Otherwise, you're spending a lot of time defragmenting files that shouldn't
really be there. It'll also get you back drive space - potentially rather
a lot of drive space - that may be part of the reason for the slowdown.

The very first time it runs it can take a few minutes, as there can be
gigabytes of stuff to delete.

Yes clean out the junk by running CCleaner or the disk cleanup tool
This would include ur temporary files, recycle bin files, temporar
internet files, cookies etc. Your system probably has lots of junk an
the defrag job is being interrupted. After that run chkdsk and then ru
the disk defragmenter in SAFE MODE. In fact run a disk cleanup an
defragment regularly, this way it wont take long each time. I woul
personally recommend a third party tool to do the job faster. Goo
luck
