Hello

Sorry for posting this here, I can't find a Windows 2003 forum. Can anyone recommend disk cloning (copy) software that works for Windows2003? None of the ones I have tried for Windows2000 work for 2003. If anyone can recommend something that is designed for 2003, please let me know. I did find one last night (crap, forgot the name) but it was 500 bucks. I am hoping to find a cheaper one

Thanks

Acronis DiskImage works very well, is much
faster than competing products and doesn't
cost much.

.. . . have a look at your computer clock and/or
time zone. You're ahead of everyone else!

The one that is not for server is 50 bucks. Darn...

Although I've never tried it, you should be able to use Acronis True Image,
Norton Ghost or PQ Drive Image, as long as you can down the system and image
under the programs bootable DOS structure. Don't see why not. NTFS is
NTFS. You'll note that the "Server Edition" is capable of imaging a "live"
server. Try it.

Check out this company: http://www.paragon-gmbh.com/

Their partition manager is noted as 2003 Server compatible. They also
have the Hard Disk Manager which includes the partition manager along
with some imaging, backup, and other utilities. I think the PM will
copy the disk for you but the whole package is only $59 list and you
get a lot more flexibility with it.

If you decide to buy, go to Amazon. It's only $52 and you can download
it to your machine in short time.
