Disk Cleanup

All of a sudden Disk Cleanup "doesn't do anything"! IF it
comes up, it stays at 3 percent and doesn't move.(I've
waited for at least an hour). What is my problem and how
can I fix it?
I really need it , since I download a lot, to clean up.

Tex,

It is probably because of the 'Compressed Files' selection
within Disk cleanup. It's a fairly common problem with XP.
