Can someone help me???? I have run disk clean up and now I have files that
apear in blue. I would like to know how I can get the text back to black, or
normal? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Blue indicated the files are compressed. Disk Cleanup compresses files that
have not been recently used.
Open Disk Cleanup and uncheck the box "Compress old files" to stop that from
happening.

This regedit will remove that option from Disk Cleanup if that is what you
want:

Line 48 Right column "Disk Cleanup..."

To uncompress the file:
Right click then click Properties.
Click Advanced button.
Uncheck appropriate box.

By design, WinXP automatically compresses files that do not get used
frequently (an action that's a part of the disk cleanup process), and,
if you've left the default settings intact, displays those file names in
blue.

If you wish to change this behavior, in Windows Explorer, click
Tools > Folder Options > View > Advanced settings: Show encrypted or
compressed NTFS files in color.
