Disk Cleanup program

My Disk Cleanup program locks up and will not work
anymore. It starts out by compressing old files, but
locks up and does not finish the program of showing how
much I can delete to get additional space on my C hard
drive. When I first started using this feature with
Windows XP, it worked fine, but since defragmenting my C
hard drive, now the Disk Cleanup program will not work
and locks up and quits working while compressing old
files!!
What can I do to get the Disk Cleanup progam working
again without reloading Windows XP Home Addition.

Double click the icon once downloaded.
