Disk Cleanup--fix for "Compress old files"?

Is there a registry hack to delete the "compress old files" step from
the Disk Cleanup utility? I don't want to compress, but that step takes
most of execution time. I add and delete many files and would run Disk
Cleanup several times a day if it didn't take so long.
