Disk Cleanup cannot run to completion.

Whenever I load up the windows xp system tool "Disk
Cleanup," it hangs indefinately while looking for old files
to compress. I left the thing running all night, and to no
avail.

Anyone ever had this problem?

Hi,

Disk Cleanup freezes during the Compressed File Phase: This edit corrects
the problem:

To use the Regedit: Save the REG File to your hard disk. Double click it
and answer yes to the import prompt. REG files can be viewed in Notepad by
right clicking on the file and selecting Edit.
