I have created a web-site using FP 2000 and have been advised that to set up
a discussion forum I should create it in a sub-web. I have done this, I have
published the sub-web to my http site but when you click the links on the
actual web-site it says page not found. What have I done wrong?? Can anyone
help?

Plus a URL to the root web home page and the DW subweb start page
- make sure the DW start page uses the same file name as required by your host for the home page (index.htm or whatever)

Sorry, I don't think I explained the problem properly - the discussion web
appears fine but the link back to my actual web-sites home page says page not
found. I can't call the home page for the discussion web index.htm as the
home page to my site is called that.

If the DW is in a separate folder or subweb you can name the DW home page index.htm as well..

OK, thank you but that still doesn't explain why the link back to my home
page of my web-site won't work! I'll have another try and see.

Post a URL to the discussion web, and also tell us what the URL should be to
get back to the home page of your main web site.
