Discover in-use IP's

Is there a tool, preferable free, that will ping all the
ip's in a given subnet and return which ones are in-use?
 
Just did one. NetDig at www.mvptools.com
netdig 192.168.0.? ptr
netdig 192.168.*.[1-102] ptr
netdig *.*.*.* ptr
You get the point.

Has a gui and console mode. Only works in console mode right now. hth.
