Hi All:
There is a nifty box with a cute telephone in the middle
of the screen asking, 'Disconnect now' and 'Staying on
Line' after completing surfing Internet. However,
recently I have NOT seen this cuddly box to 'cut the
line' or 'staying on line.' Frankly, I miss this 'Box'
because in a rash, I tend to forget to cut the line.

How could I get this 'Box' back?
If anyone knows this, I would be truly appreciated.
Thanks for your help in advance.

I think you are referring to the Auto Disconnect dialogue box.

Start>Control Panel>Network and Internet Connections>Internet Options
OR
Start>Rt. click Internet Icon>Internet Properties
OR
On dialing up, when the modem is singing before connection, in the Dial-up
Connection dialogue box, click Cancel then Settings

Connections tab>Settings (Dial-up and VPN)>Advanced (Dial-up)>
Tick box against Disconnect when connection may no longer be needed.

Hi 'Bee':
Thanks for your GREAT help.
It started working again like before things happened. I
need this icon because I often forget to disconnect the
line and unable to take a telephone/ringing until things
become TOO late. Then, a lot of messages are ended
up 'message Box' to take care of my negligence.
Thanks again!!!
