Disconnecting from internet every 20 minutes.

I use a dial up to connect to compuserve. Every 20 minutes or so I am
discoonnected with a message that says no activity, connect again. How can I
increase this time significantly to avoid constantl;y being disconnected?
 
possibly 2 places to check.
Properties for dial up. under options tab. check for idle time before haning
up.
OR Internet Explorer, toolbar, Internet option, Connection, settings, advanced
