disconnected from internet

when ever i try to connect to an internet game on
counterstrike i lose internet connection. not only on my
comp but on the other ones also. i took off the
firewall that came with xp but it still doesn't work.
does anyone know how to solve this problem

I don't, but since the XP firewall apparently wasn't the problem, don't
forget to re-activate it while you're trying to figure things out.

Do you have all the patches for CS? How do you connect to the Internet?
Does this happen on all game servers or only ones hosted at the same
site? Does this happen with all online games, or just CS? Post back
with details for help.
