Disconnect mapped drive.

I have 2 systems operating through a home network. I
mapped the E: drive to a USB hard drive on the other
computer but it caused a conflict with my digital camera
on my laptop. Apparently the camera must be the E:
drive. Before disconnecting the current e: drive I
remapped the USB drive to Z: and used the Digital camera
on E:. Now I can't get rid of the E: drive in Windows
Explorer because it thinks it's still a network drive. I
right click on the drive and the message is "cant find
network connection."

What steps should I take to remove this mapped drive?

Brad,

How have you tried to remove this mapped network drive from explorer? Can
you not open up the Tools menu from explorer , selecting 'Disconnect Network
Drive...', selecting the drive from the newly opened dialog and then click
OK button?

Let me know,
Dennis Davis [msft]
