Disconnect from Shares

I have had several users that get disconnected from
shares during the day. They try to save an office
document and they get an error:

"The disk is full trying to wirtes (filename) please save
this file on a different drive"

I found MSKB#198244 which tells me what the problem is.
I would like to know what troubleshooting steps to take
to find out why the use is getting disconnected.

Hi Debbie,

I'm by no means an expert in this subject matter, but I'll try to assist you
to the best of my ability. Are you experiencing any Event ID 2021 and/or
2022 on the server? If so, then review this article because for sure it's a
known issue that these events can cause clients to get disconnected.

Also, badly fragmented can cause users to become disconnected from the
server as well.
