Is there such a thing as "Low Level Formatting of Zip Discs or Floppy Discs?
I have some zip discs that have been in a strong magnetic field and cannot
be read or formatted. I thought that a low level formatting may retrieve
them. Is this possible?

No. Exposure to a "strong magnetic field" will destroy
the disks.
