disc pointer

Hi Guys,

For no apparent reason, and at random, a disc appears next to my pointer
with no disc in the Rom or burner drives. It is very annoying because it
seems to spike my useage and causes a slight delay with anything I am doing.
I am assuming spyware but I regularly clean my PC for any and all spyware.
Any help would be appreciated to remove this annoying process.

You may open task manager and observe the program that spikes usage at
that time, then you may change the program for one that doesn't do that.
