Tools. Then go to disk defragmenter. When the new screen
comes up there is a defrag tab at the bottom left side of
the screen. This can take a while to complete, make sure
you give yourself a bit of time.

Click on MyComputer, find C: drive. R-Click and select
properties. Goto Tools tab. Run Scandisk First, Then go
back and run Defrag. Make sure you have no applications
open, especially Virus software. These 2 programs will
take considerable time to complete if your drive is in
the gigabyte range...
