Connector Problems

How can I disable Outlook Connector? The problem is whenever it synchs it
erases part of my contact notes in Outlook (apparently there is a limit on
the amount of info it synchs with Hotmail and I lose my all my info that I
wrote in my contact notes beyond a certain limit). All I need Outlook to do
is send/receive email. I do not want or need the rest of Outlook Connector,
as this is really messing up my Outlook contact notes. Thank you.

AFAIK you cannot configure the Outlook Connector to exclude certain folders
from syncing. You can contact Live Support and report it as a feature
suggestion and at the same time ask if Windows Live Hotmail can extend the
Notes section of a contact.

I want to get rid of Outlook Connector and uninstall the add-in from Outlook.
Is there any way of doing this?

I have a paid account...so I don't need to worry about losing the freebie
hotmail account features. How can I uninstall the Outlook Connector (and
then use only POP to connect to my account)? Many thanks.

check Help when in your account online to get the pop/smtp addresses. I'm
not sure if all accounts have it or if they still offer it for all accounts.

But... if you only need to stop syncing contacts, use a local pst as the
default delivery location. Calendar and contacts will be in the local pst
unless you move them to the connector account.
