Disappreaing calendar events

P

I just synced my Blackberry Storm, but when I went to my Outlook Calendar,
all events prior to two weeks had been deleted. I had no option for restoring
the deleted files under Edit. I tried to move the deleted events back to the
Calendar by highlighting them all and clicking on "Move To Folder" selecting
the Calendar folder as my target. The events came up as individual icons in
the note section of a new calendar entry. It didn't look right, so I said
"Cancel." I noticed right away that the "Deleted Files" folder was now empty.
All of the events had disappeared, and I have no idea where they went. I
can't "Undo" my cancellation, and I am afraid to close Outlook because I feel
the events are still there somewhere.

Has anyone had a similar situation? I cannot find anywhere to retrieve the
information which is comprised of all my Calendar events for the past 6
months.

The Blackberry did that. Unless you tell it to keep items longer, that's
its normal behavior.

Correct. Deletion via sync is permanent.

Are you using Exchange or some other type of account? Which?

Restore it from the most recent backup you made. You do make periodic
backups, correct?
