Disappearing Favorites

Jeff

I have a problem with disppearing favorites. I recently
loaded Windows XP Professional. The favorites that I and
my family members have set up, each under their own log
in, have disappeared a couple of times. This is quite
frustrating as we have to re-establish our favorites each
time. I am hoping someone can help us with this.

Thanks

Jeff

Thank you for your response. I will try it when I get home
from work. I assume you are referring to the "enable
personalized favorites" box on the advanced tab.

It seems illogical to turn this off, but then again I may
not fully understand what it does when it is
checked/unchecked. Can you explain this?

Thanks

Jeff

Keeps your Favorites list clean by hidding links that
you haven't used recently, while still keeping other
links easily accessible. You can view hidden links by
clicking the down arrow at the bottom of the favorites
menu.

Personally....i use the Links toolbar for most used
sites/links. 16 links across screen with 10-15 under
each link. top toolbar is all the other bars and second
toolbar is Links bar. no google/yahoo/ebay toolbars.
