I just installed MS Office Professional on my XP
Professional desktop.

When I close Outlook and boot it up again, the password
that I entered under Logon Information in Email Accounts
is no longer there. As long as I keep outlook running,
the password is fine, but themoment I shut Outlook down,
the password is gone. Everything else seems to be working
fine. Does anyone have any ideas on what I can try to fix
this.

Thanks,

John

It worked. I made the mods to the registry and my email
password is now being saved. Thanks for your help... John
