Disappearing e-mail messages

I own few copies of Office 2003. I just bought new laptop and installed
another new copy of Office 2003. Everything works well with Office 2003
especially Outlook 2003. But i have unusual and most bizarre problem that I
never see in my other copies of Office 2003. When I read new e-mail message
and then move to next new e-mail message, the previous red message
automatically vanishes into thin air from Inbox folder. This is annoying. I
searched everywhere in options to deactivate the dissappearance function of
read messages. It does not happen on other my Outlook 2003 softwares. Any
idea how to get Outlook 2003 stop making my e-mail messages disappearing into
thin air from Inbox after I read them?

Are you filtering your email to show only unread messages?

Click View>Arrange By>Current View and change your view from Unread Messages
to Messages.
