Disappearing Admin at log on

Hello...It seems that my main admin log on has disappeared. It is not an
optional account listed at the XP log on screen. Is there a funtion that will
bring it back? I sign on with a 2nd user account. The admin profile is no
longer listed in the control panel. However, it does exist under one the
performance and maintainance options.

It's supposed to be hidden. It's not the main admin account but the setup/emergency account. You need to create the main admin account and when you do it hides.
