i trying to transfer photos on to a memory card that conects to my phone through the usb... but its telling me that the files are write protected and to disable it but i don't know how?

Maybe it's the memory card that's write protected.
Inspect the edges very closely for a small slider that
you can move to a different position.

I'm also baffled at exactly what you are asking. Did the write protect
tab broke off?
