Since installing some software and new hardware yesterday, I am getting the
Windows Installer Window popping up saying it is trying to configure
Microsoft Office XP Professional with Frontpage. I have to keep clicking on
it to close it down but it is a nuisance. I do not have the CD so I cannot
sort it out that way. I had at one time had a similar problem when I started
Excel but was able to disable Installer at Start up but cannot find the file
now to do the same in the Start up list. What should I be looking for in the
start up list?
I have stopped it in Computer/Management/Services but it seems to switch
back to being enabled when I reboot. Any ideas please? I hesitate to use the
Clean up program as it says it should be used with caution as some programs
would have to be reinstalled.
