Disabling USB drives

Does anyone know if or how I can disable USB disk drives, memory sticks,
etc?

Thanks.

Actually it is pretty simple to create a disk filter that detects the
connection is USB, and then denies access to the drive.

Thanks for that but I'm afraid I have no idea how I might do this. I
don't want everything on a plate but a pointer or two in the right
direction would be very helpful. Thanks again.

Right click on My Computer, then from the Hardware tab, click on Device
Manager. Scroll down and you'll find the USB Controllers.

Remember not to click on Uninstall; if you do this, XP will just reinstall
them on the next startup.
