disabling keyboard shortcuts

My kids have their own computer and are constantly hittingthe windows
button and strange things pop up in front of their games. Is there a
way to turn off keyboard shortcuts like that? IE comes up a lot--they
have no internet connection so if removing IE would help, I'd do that.

There is a small program called Keymapper availabel here that will do what
you want. HTH.
