disabling a hotbar

Somehow I must have done something that installed a
hotbar/toolbar full of advertisements within Internet
Explorer. Does anyone know how I can disable this toolbar
and remove it from the Internet Explorer window? Thanks!!!

Julie,
I had the same problem with my hotbar at the top of my
Iexplorer. You have to Remove the hotbar program from
your computer. This is how i did it on mine, hopefully
it'll work on yours, if it's the same one that i had.

Type:
http://hotbar.com/downloads/HbUnist.exe

into your address bar and then after it has downloaded
locate the file name HBUnInst.exe Double click on the
file and follow the instructions. After you do this, if
it's the same as mine, you will be free of everything.
