I recently installed a Windows System Update Server on my
W2K AD network, and have configured clients to obtain
updates from my in-house SUS (by using an AD group
policy). I would like to disable the Tools/Windows Update
option from within IIS 6 (or at least have it redirect to
my my Windows SUS server), so that users cannot use it to
go to the Microsoft update site and apply unapprooved
updates. Can anyone advise on this? Thank you so much
for your help!

Try asking this in the SUS newsgroup.

From a previous reply:

Check out Software Update Services

It also it has its own newsgroup, NNTP

< news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.softwareupdatesvcs >

and web interface
