Disable USB storage

Hi,

Has anyone found a reliable way to disable USB storage devices for specific
users & groups? I've tried the Microsoft method of placing permissions on
the usbstor.inf & .pnf and the registry entries but the devices can still be
picked up and used.

I know there are 3rd party solutions out there but I would prefer to use AD
& group policy to do this.
