Disable search feature in merged document - Word 2002

I used the Search and Replace feature in a merged document. Now I can't page
through the document without getting the message "Word has finished searching
the document. The search item was not found." How do I turn that off?

Click the little round button between the 2 dbl-headed arrows, select Page.
Any time you use one of the Browse features the Browse Objects button resets
to that. The arrows turn blue to let you know that it is set to something
other than the default. If it's set to Browse by Page the arrows will be
black.

Assuming you have the vertical scroll bar displayed, click the Select Browse
Object button between the two browse arrows and select Page as your browse
object.
