Disable program termination

Fred

Thank you.

I would like to disable the ability to close a program. If the PC is up and
operational, electricity applied to it, I want this particular program to be
running. Unable the File Close, Disable the X, Control Alt Delete has no
effect.

I use a Ipswitch program called What's Up (Great program). I use it to
monitor my sites. Sometimes sites go down and then return. I need to know
when. Some of my fellow workers close the program and I lose the data.
Making it impossable to close the program would be very helpfull.

Please respond to

Thanks in advanced!

Short of making all users of the computer Limited - and you'd want to
use XP Pro for its ability to fine-tune permissions - I can't think how
you'd do this. You'd want to basically make the workstation almost a
dumb terminal or run in a type of kiosk mode, which is certainly
doable. It really depends on what the workstation users need to do in
their jobs. Why not just educate the users not to close the program?
Make it a company policy.
