disable norton antivirus while running utility

I recently upgraded to XP. How do I disable the Norton
antivirus program while running a defrag utility (Fix-it
4) and enable it after I am finished?

just right click on your anti-virus icon on system tray
and click on disable auto-protection


to enable it go to the same place and click on enable
auto-protection
