Does anyone have any suggestions? I have a windows xp
pentium 4, 256K, I have norton antivirus and system
utilities 2004.
Very recently my computer has been "haning up" very slow
and I am recieving many "program not responding" messages.
I am doing as much maintenance as I know how but still
have the problem.

thanks

Ron

You may find something at
http://www3.telus.net/dandemar/Slowcom.htm

Depending on what kind of (and how many) programs you are
running at the same time, 256K RAM is the bare minimum for
XP. Since low RAM means more work for the page file you
could check here as well.

Norton will find trojans but I'm not sure if it also finds
spyware. Find Ad-Aware and Spybot via Google - update and
use both daily.
