Disable Network Cable Detection

Dear All;

How can I disable network cable detection? I want W2K Adv. Server to asume
connection (even if is not detected) in order to use network card IP
addresses settings.

The Media Sense option might help as per this kb
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=239924 but your best option might be to get
some of those little loopback RJ-45 connectors and plug them in instead.
