How can I delete MS Internet Explorer? Some of the key strokes are
affecting another program and I can't proceed.
When I press alt-F1 as required in another program, it opens I/E
and says "MOTIVE COMMUNICATIONS-MS INTERNET EXPLORER CUSTOMIZED FOR
VERIZON ONLINE" I don't even USE I/E. Thanx.

Ok, Herbzee, baby, sweetie; it doesn't matter how many
times you post your request; neither God nor Mr Gates
himself is going to speak to you from above, you have to
come back to the newsgroup to get your answer. And you
have been answered many times, both here and in the basics
group.

Did you think that if you hadn't said "LOL" we would have thought you were
serious?

Coming back for "answers" still leaves the solution very irresolute in
this case.

If you have at least SP1 installed you can open Control Panel and click on
Set Program Access and Defaults. That's as far as you can go in disabling
IE, no matter how many times you ask.

In which case your LOL would make even less sense. My point? Don't assume
that everyone is too stupid to recognize a joke.

I assume nothing and why are you so into what and how I write? LOL

I always consider LOL to be a response to indicate someone
is laughing...not necessarily a notice that a joke is being
told.
