Disable "Connection to Exchange server has been lost" notification

Hi, I am the admin for a medium size company.
At time I need to update IMF and hotfixes on Exchange 2003 server.
I do most work after hours and schedule bounces but at time I have to bounce
during business hours. However each time the clients are notified via a
notification window in Outlook 2003 "Connection to Exchange server has been
lost".
Is there a global way I can disable this window? It causes me more grief
that good.
