Disable CD

Is tere anyway in which you can disable CD drive access
for an individual user using XP Pro. ie. the
Administrator will have full access but others will not
be able to use the CD drive.

No, you can't. But you can set the user accounts

limitions, e.g. cannot install any hardwares/softwares.

Go to control panel/user accounts/click the user account

type, uncheck any boxes that you don't want the users can
access to.

I tried to check and uncheck boxes which you described
and nothing happened and I am the computer administrator.
Why can't I change the boxes?
