Disable CD creator??

Is there a way to disable the built in XP CD copying
program? I am having trouble with my NERO software that
came with my NEC 1300A dual DVD R.
 
Open Windows Explorer, right click the CD recorder drive, select properties,
go to the Recording tab, remove the check from "Enable CD recording on this
drive" and click apply and ok.
