Disable auto-ordering of Favorites list

I hate it when IE automatically sorts my favorites list (folders, within
folders, etc.) after I've spent lots of time putting them in an order I want
(e.g., with most used at the top). Is there any way the auto-ordering can be
disabled? Thanks,
 
I've never seen IE do that. What version of IE are you using, and what
version of Windows?
