directx9.0c download problems?

can anyone help me with this prob?
when i go to download directx9.0c it says hasnt passed microsoft logo
testing and refuses to download.
i need it for new games
what cani i do?

Directx 9.oC wasn't on the Game Install CD? It should be.

Look for "When installing an update you receive the following message:

It sounds like you already have Directx 9.0c, if not, I will bow out and
let someone with a few more brain cells than me, help you.

Do you have SP2 install? SP2 also put DirectX 9.0c on.

Run the DirectX diagnostic tool. Start>Run dxdiag. At the
prompt, if the tool asks to download certificates, choose
yes. After loading Save a copy of the report in you
documents folder.
If DX 9.0C is installed the file called qasf.dll will be
around v 9.00.0000.32xx, all others will be at 5.01, 5.03 or
6.02. This is on the second tab of the tool.
