I have added directx9.0c macro to my image.

When I run dxdiag after the image is running on my target machine it
repoprts directx9.0b instead. Then I run the redist for directx9.0c and the
install fails stateing the files are already installed.

My target app is looking for a later version of d3d9.dll than is installed
on my target machine.

How should I go about getting my target app to work?

There's a few registry keys need changing - what you have *is* 9.0c it
just doesn't *think* it is. If you do a google groups search (my TD is
busy at the moment so I can't look at what I've got in my settings right
this second) you should find some information on this.
