Im trying to load sims 2 and keep getting told that I need to upgrade
directx9.0b to direct9.0c, but when it starts it stops and says thatthe
software has not passed windows logo testing to verify its compatability with
windows xp, I have ran a directx diagnostic and it was fine apart from - the
file nv4_disp dll is not digitally signed.

Anybody help????

This article should help:
"You cannot install some updates or programs"
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/822798/EN-US/
I have ran a directx diagnostic and it
was fine apart from - the file nv4_disp dll is not digitally signed.

That's not the problem.

how can you find out what type of memory card is running with your
system??

The referred MSKB article doesn't mention any "memory card". Start
another thread if your problem is different from the subject line.
There, you may want to explain what "memory card" you're talking
about in particular.

Re-enable Cryptographic Service, that had been disabled by someone --
most likely while hasty "optimizing" Windows XP.

Not a problem though. It is better when driver is signed -- but many of
the unsigned drivers, like this one, do work with no noticeable
problems.
