How can I tell what version is running. The DirectX.log file in c:\winnt
says I installed DirectX9 almost 2 years ago. When I try and run Jodix
free RM to MP3 converter I get a message "You need update your DirectX
to version 8.1 or higher"

Run dxdiag.exe

Thanks. That says DirectX Version: DirectX 9.0c (4.09.0000.0904) Is
there any updates that I should get?

That is the latest release version afaik, if you have an application
that complains that you need to upgrade to a later version then that
application is broken, contact the maker for a solution.

Tab through the various dxdiag screens and make sure that it doesn't
report any problems first.

Thanks, I had done that and had no problems. I may just have to remove
the program. It is freeware and I believe the next version was pay.
